friday night my friend celebrated her birthday with a party where she asked her guest’s to transport themselves back into the 1940s with clothing inspired by the time. the party went off without a hitch and i had such a great time celebrating this lovely lady :)

it seems that the art season is upon us. last friday i went to the bass museum of art with some friends for their beats after sunset event with dj a train playing some great beats. we then followed him to the gansevoort rooftop and met some friends to dance the night away.

saturday night was sleepless nights miami - a 13-hour cultural arts & entertainment festival featuring 150+ free events at over 80 locations citywide, all free of charge. the event i was able to check-out was project bandaloop where the floor was turned on it’s side as dancers danced on the side of the new world symphony building. they’re kind of hard to spot in the photo  below but just know it was impressive. let’s see what this weekend brings.
